All our windows are available in a choice of either single or double glazing.
Single glazed windows consist of one (1) single layer of glass. This layer of glass can range in thickness from 4mm up, depending on the size of the glass pane. The bigger the pane the thicker the glass required to suit Australian Standards. Single glazing is more cost effective initially when purchasing new windows and doors.
Double glazed windows consist of two (2) double layers of glass. Double glazing, while more expensive initially, is becoming the standard choice for Australian Home Owners as the energy saving benefits return huge benefits in energy costs over the life of the home.
